It all depends on the shift supervisor’s status within the company. If they are valued by management, then within the limits of their capabilities, they have the final say
Minor incidents can be controlled and handled within the team, while larger incidents are beyond control within the team; they must be dealt with simultaneously while reporting promptly to request assistance.
