Why not add excess sodium carbonate directly to the baffle trough of the salt treatment tank and use the post-reaction site as a backup?
We only add sodium carbonate to the rear reaction barrel, and only sodium hydroxide to the baffle tank of the salt tank.
The crude brine enters the crude brine tank after adding sodium and caustic soda solution through the baffle tank. I just want to know why two places are designed to add sodium carbonate. In actual production, it is usually added at the rear reaction tank, and the over-alkali amount of sodium carbonate is controlled. Almost no or less sodium carbonate is added in the salt tank.
Does your company add sodium carbonate once to the baffle tank of the salt pool to remove calcium ions, and then add sodium carbonate to the post-reaction site? Is the industrial salt or brine used by your company, and what is the calcium and magnesium content? Is it a high ratio of calcium to magnesium?
