Gentlemen, there is a material available that contains 7% sodium hydroxide along with 1500 ppm of chloride ions. It needs to be concentrated 3 times, using multi-effect evaporation for concentration. Is 316L material suitable? The process involves four-effect counter-current evaporation, with the liquid phase temperature in the first effect being around 135°C:handshake
The mother liquor after multi-effect evaporation is directly evaporated in a dryer to precipitate a solid.
