On May 19, the 1.2 million tons per year soda ash production facility for carbon recovery and comprehensive utilization, which was planned and constructed by Yingen Chemical – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boyuan Chemical and also a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yingen Mining – as part of the project for developing natural alkalis derived from lamins in Alxa, began operations with material feeding and started producing products. Meanwhile, the soda ash unit of Phase 2 of the project also began trial operation with feedstock supplied recently, and the soda ash production line in Phase 2 has now reached full capacity and met all performance standards. This will further strengthen the company’s core business in natural soda, expand its business scale, and increase its market share.
