As the title states, I recently encountered this topic, which was mainly about economic evaluation. The owner raised the issue of sodium carbonate dehydrogenation sulfide. I have never been exposed to this method before and was stumped. If anyone knows about this, please give me some advice. In addition, any form of design manual will do! ! ! Thank you! What I haven’t understood yet is that what others are talking about is not catalytic desulfurization such as sodium carbonate + 888, but only sodium carbonate? It's a super small-scale device.
If a catalyst is not used, the amount of alkali used will be very large. I have not tried it.
Generally, sodium carbonate + tannin + vanadium pentoxide or sodium carbonate + 888 are used for better desulfurization.
Ours is a direct reaction between potassium carbonate and sulfur in the gas.
Only sodium carbonate is used for desulfurization. I haven’t tried it yet. Ours is a phthalocyanine cobalt catalyst + sodium carbonate desulfurization process.
Is it worthwhile for you to do this? Without a catalyst activator, it will definitely consume a lot of alkali.

Sodium carbonate desulfurization is possible, but the prerequisite is how much gas volume you want to process! It’s okay if you have a small amount of energy, but it’s not okay anyway.
If there is a delay, I still need to add something like 888. Others misunderstood it, so I looked for this method everywhere, but I still saw reports about it. I guess it was done in the laboratory.
