Recently, the resin plant of Lu’an Hengtong Chemical Company resolved the problem of dust accumulation on the finished bags in the PVC packaging process through technical upgrades, thereby contributing to the long-term safe and stable operation of the facility. 　　During the PVC packaging process, dust tends to accumulate on the surface of the finished packaging bags, and these bags are prone to slipping and collapsing during stacking, posing challenges to safe production. Previously, the staff handled this by using compressed air for purging, which resulted in significant waste of air supply. In response to this issue, the factory immediately formed a task force to launch a \"campaign\" aimed at resolving the dust problem. 　　To identify the root causes of the problems, the team members worked directly at the production site, tracking and recording data such as the operating parameters of the packaging machine, the transmission speed of PVC material, and the patterns of dust accumulation, thereby gathering first-hand information for the design of solutions. On this basis, the task force established a four-step renovation method of \"precise control and dust control at the source\". First, improve the dust removal system and increase the vacuum level in the PVC packaging system, thereby reducing dust leakage at the source through stable negative pressure operation. Second, recalibrate the clamping force of the bag clamps as well as the precision of alignment of the bag openings, to prevent dust leakage when materials are inserted into the bags. Third, fine-tune the installation height of the packaging sewing machine and the heat-sealing tape, to ensure a tight seal during the sealing process and thus block any pathways for dust leakage. Fourth, optimize the exhaust holes in the packaging bags, so as to allow smooth exhaust while preventing dust from being expelled along with the air. 　　Through a series of improvements, the dust problem at the site has been alleviated; waste of air resources resulting from compressed air cleaning has been avoided, and the seeds of lean innovation have taken root in the hearts of every employee.
