Is it necessary to install a breather valve on a concentrated sulfuric acid tank?
For large storage tanks, special vent valves for sulfuric acid tanks are required. The traditional materials used are carbon steel or stainless steel, with PO or PTFE as the lining; nowadays, polypropylene (PP) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are also being used. When a large amount of liquid enters the tank, a large volume of gas will rise to the top; in order to maintain pressure balance inside and outside the tank, it is necessary to consider adding something.
