Under what conditions will excessive acid concentration of over 98.1 result in significant exhaust emissions? 94% after drying, 98.3% after the first absorption, 97.9% after the second absorption – is there little to no exhaust gas left at that point? Multiple tests of the acid concentration have shown no issues after calibration. Two-stage absorption cycle: acid temperature 85, absorption acid temperature 65, flue gas temperature 220.

Sulfuric acid has a high degree of hygroscopicity, and inadequate precautions during testing can easily lead to moisture absorption and resulting errors. The most likely explanation for your situation is an analysis error.
It is possible that the conversion reaction shifted backward, resulting in excessive acid production during the second absorption step
The inlet temperature of the second absorption tower and the temperature of the acid entering the tower are both relatively high, but the difference between these two temperatures is significant: 220 – 85 = 135. Consider the following three points: 1. The amount of acid in circulation is low; check whether the current of the second absorption pump has decreased significantly; 2. Low production load, low gas volume, and low gas velocity, which affect the collision effect of the demister ; 3. A large temperature difference between gas and liquid leads to increased acid mist as a result of heat exchange
Calibrate the secondary acid concentration analyzer; the acid concentration analyzer might be giving lower values
Or check the exhaust pipeline of the secondary suction cycle tank
