Seen in chemical plants: electrical explosion-proof design – explosion-proof motors, explosion-proof flexible connectors, cables enclosed in galvanized pipes; Then the cable is in the tray. I’m not quite sure why the cables in the cable tray don’t use galvanized pipes
If the cables in the cable tray are not enclosed in galvanized pipes, won’t they still come into contact with flammable and explosive gases?
It’s not the cable coming into contact with flammable and explosive gases that creates a risk, but rather preventing problems within the cable itself, such as sparks, from causing hazards.
