For engineering projects in high seismic intensity zones (magnitude 8.5), what are the advantages and disadvantages of concrete structures versus steel structures for the plant buildings?
When deciding between a concrete structure and a steel structure, factors such as the earthquake intensity and the height of the factory building also need to be considered. However, in areas with high seismic intensity, steel structures are recommended as a priority.
