　　(1) Follow the normal shutdown procedure and flush the system with low-pressure product water. 　　(2) It is advisable to carry out a chemical cleaning and sterilization process; after cleaning, use the RO water low-pressure flushing system until the conductivity of the concentrated water is equal to that of the feed water. 　　(3) Use pure water produced by reverse osmosis to prepare a protective solution containing 1.0% sodium bisulfite; rely on the chemical cleaning system to circulate and flush the membrane elements, remove air from the pressure vessel, fully submerge the membrane elements in the protective solution to prevent them from drying out, and close all inlet valves, concentrate valves, and product water valves to prevent air from entering and rendering the protective solution ineffective. 　　(4) Check the pH value of the protective solution weekly; if the pH is below 3, replace the protective solution promptly. 　　(5) During system shutdown, the temperature is maintained between 5°C and 45°C.
