On April 5, the consortium led by China Civil Engineering signed a commercial contract for the J112 section of the Singapore Light Rail Yio Chu Kang Line project with the Singapore Land Transport Authority. This marks another successful acquisition by China Civil for a large-scale infrastructure project in Singapore, following its win of the N112 viaduct project. It demonstrates once again the high recognition of the China Civil brand in Singapore’s transportation infrastructure sector, as well as the success of the company’s local operations. At the project signing ceremony, the Light Rail Yio Chu Kang Line is a light rail route in Singapore that was planned and constructed to alleviate the growing pressure on public transportation. Connecting Chai Chee Kong and the Yio Chu Kang area, this line will further enhance the resilience of Singapore’s overall subway network. It will help distribute and reduce the heavy traffic volumes at Chai Chee Kong and Yio Chu Kang East stations, thereby facilitating travel for the public and accelerating development and economic growth along its route. Project renderings: After more than a year of careful preparation and technical consultations, China Civil Singapore’s subsidiary, together with its partners, overcame various challenges such as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to their superior technical skills and competitive bidding proposals, they stood out among many competitors and successfully secured the contract. The successful acquisition of this project is an important achievement of China Civil Engineering in implementing the strategies of \"giving priority to overseas projects\" and \"adopting a tailored approach for each country.\" It holds great significance for the company to get off to a good start during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. China Civil Singapore Branch will continue to uphold the corporate spirit of \"diligence, integrity, and perseverance\". It will plan carefully, focus on effective construction management, and strive to deliver high-quality projects. At the same time, it will actively fulfill its social responsibilities, making greater contributions to Singapore’s infrastructure development and economic growth, and will keep working hard to strengthen and expand the company’s business in Singapore.
