Why are variable-frequency drives used for elevator door motors? Is the door machine for the hall door installed on the inside or outside of the door? A door machine for the elevator car also needs to be installed on the inside, but there isn’t enough space. After the elevator doors are fully opened or closed, can’t they be pulled open and closed manually? What controls that process?
It is not necessary to use an inverter; if one is used, it can only be employed for speed control, to regulate the opening speed. The door operator is installed above the inner door; it is driven by belts and wires, and uses the inner door to open the outer door. The last question: I haven’t studied it in detail, but I know that the door can be opened manually after removing the lock.
Is the triangular key on the elevator door the same as the door-opening tool?
