How should the lighting in the tank area and the outdoor pump area be planned? Is it necessary to consider this separately, or can street lights and tall pole lights suffice to meet the requirements? Does anyone here know the provisions of the relevant standards and regulations? I would appreciate some guidance
The storage tank areas and outdoor pump areas I’ve seen all use high-mast lights; I’ve never seen them installed separately.

Manual, time-controlled, and light-controlled methods can be used. However, in gas explosion areas, single-phase lighting circuits should have both the live wire and the neutral wire disconnected simultaneously, that is, a bipolar switch should be used, while three-phase lighting circuits require a four-pole switch.
For such outdoor installations, high-mast lights seem to be the only option; it’s not possible to install separate lighting fixtures. If the tank is large enough, a few lights can be placed on top of it.
