At 9:30 on July 1, with the final section of the tower and exhaust stack assembly being precisely lifted into place, the installation of the 180-meter-tall tower-style exhaust stack, which is the tallest structure at the China Coal Yulin Advanced Coal Processing Base project, was successfully completed. The tower-type exhaust stack of the purification unit has a diameter of 2.3 meters and a total height of 180 meters; it is supported by a triangular tower, and the combined weight of the tower and the stack exceeds 500 tons. To reduce safety risks, minimize work at heights, and ensure installation quality, the installation is carried out through ground-based sectional assembly followed by sectional overall lifting. The triangular tower is designed to have 17 sections, which are assembled in six stages. The first section, ranging from 0 to 36 meters, is assembled directly on the ground foundation, while the remaining five sections are assembled horizontally on the ground. Once assembly is complete, each section of the tower is lifted using an 800-ton crawler crane; after each section is lifted, the cylinder at the corresponding height is then lifted. During the installation process, the project faced numerous challenges, including a narrow working area, a large tower that increased the risk associated with lifting operations, complex conditions for the cranes and tight deadlines, as well as limitations on the lifting height of the cranes. To ensure the smooth lifting of the tower-type exhaust stack, all participating units worked together, optimizing the technical plan through the organization of specialized reviews ; Strengthen safety management and implement various targeted safety protection measures ; Refine construction management, conduct technical briefings for all staff, and develop specialized emergency response plans. Starting on June 16 and concluding on July 1, the entire process of lifting and installing the tower-type exhaust stack in segments was completed successfully within 15 days, 8 days ahead of the original schedule.

At 9:30 on July 1st, with the final section of the tower and the exhaust stack component accurately installed in place, the installation of the tallest structure at the China Coal Yulin Coal Deep Processing Base project – the 180-meter-high tower-type exhaust stack for the purification system – was successfully completed. Next, the project team will focus on its goals and keep working hard to complete the installation of equipment for the low-temperature methanol washing process in those ultra-high and ultra-heavy towers on time, ensuring that the towers are operational as scheduled and thus laying a solid foundation for the timely completion of the project.
