Its purposes are to improve efficiency, ensure quality, maintain a clean and organized working environment, focus on prevention, and guarantee safety. The essence of 6S is a corporate culture focused on execution, one that emphasizes discipline, is not afraid of challenges, and strives to carry out tasks as planned and do them well. By implementing the basic aspects of 6S, a high-quality management framework can be established to support other management activities.

Seiri — distinguishing any items in the workplace as necessary or unnecessary, and removing everything that is not necessary while keeping only what is essential. Purpose: To free up space, make efficient use of it, prevent misuse, and create a clean working environment. Seiton – Place the necessary items that remain in their designated positions, organize them neatly, and label them. Purpose: To keep the workplace organized and clear, eliminate time spent searching for items, maintain a tidy working environment, and remove excess accumulated items. Cleaning (SEISO) – Cleaning both visible and invisible areas in the workplace to maintain a clean and tidy environment there. Purpose: To stabilize quality and reduce industrial injuries. Cleanliness (SEIKETSU) – Taking sorting, organizing, and cleaning to the extreme and institutionalizing them to maintain a tidy environment at all times. Purpose: To create a tidy workplace and maintain the 3S achievements achieved earlier. SHITSUKE – Every member develops good *habits, follows rules in their actions, and fosters a proactive attitude (also known as *inertia). Purpose: To cultivate employees with good habits and a rule-following attitude, and to foster team spirit. Security – Emphasizing safety education for members, maintaining a mindset that safety comes first at all times, and taking preventive measures in advance. Purpose: To establish a safe working environment, with all operations to be carried out on a safe basis.
