New ideas for energy savings – a creative idea: \"A bold hypothesis on increasing the temperature of fuel gas to reduce energy consumption in related devices.\" The heating furnaces in refineries are core equipment for many processes, and the fuel gas used in these furnaces represents a significant source of energy consumption. My idea is to increase the temperature of the fuel gas fed into the heating furnaces, thereby reducing its consumption. Idea inspiration: The fuel gas used in the heating furnaces of coking units first passes through a fractionation overhead circulation heat exchanger before entering the fuel gas buffer tank, and from there it goes to the heating furnaces. Experience has shown that when there is a leak or failure in the heat exchanger that handles the heat exchange between the coking overhead circulation gas and the fuel gas, the amount of fuel gas used in the heating furnaces of these coking units increases significantly (I don’t have specific numerical data since I’m not a technical expert, but this can be determined from the daily usage amount of fuel gas). Since the temperature of the fuel gas in coking units can affect the energy consumption of that fuel gas, the same principle should apply to the heating furnaces in other types of units as well.
