On July 14, Maohua Shihua announced that the hydrogenation unit and separation unit of the 140,000 tons per year pyrolysis of carbon nine and pyrolysis tar comprehensive utilization project, which is owned in its entirety by its subsidiary Zhanjiang Shihua Chemical Co., Ltd., as well as the 300,000 tons per year (at 27.5% concentration) hydrogen peroxide production project, have been put into operation recently. The products produced are of satisfactory quality and are being sold in the market. In addition, the resin unit of the 140,000 tons per year project for the comprehensive utilization of pyrolyzed carbon-9 and pyrolytic tar will be put into production based on market demand, raw material availability, and cost-benefit analysis.
