According to Sinochem New Network, recently Schlumberger, a global leader in energy technology, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with energy giant Shell. The two companies will work together to develop artificial intelligence (AI) technologies based on autonomous agents for use in the oil and gas sector, with the aim of improving the efficiency and capabilities of industry experts and decision-makers. Under the agreement, the two parties plan to build an open data and AI infrastructure to integrate data and workflows across the entire chain, including underground exploration, drilling construction, and production operations, within a secure digital environment. Schlumberger will leverage its Lumi data and AI platform to drive the development and application of intelligent solutions.
