Seeking expert advice: Introduction to the light hydrocarbons project at Taixing Xinpu Chemical

A project to crack 1 million tons of light hydrocarbons into ethylene and related products is currently under construction.

Project Name: Xinpu Olefins (Taixing) Co., Ltd. 1.1 million tons/year Light Hydrocarbons Comprehensive Utilization Project. Project Overview: The proposed site for this project is located within the Taixing Economic Development Zone in Jiangsu Province. By utilizing light hydrocarbon resources from both domestic and international sources, and by employing advanced, mature, and reliable ethylene production technologies, this project aims to produce polymeric-grade ethylene and propylene products. The construction includes a main unit area, utility areas, product tank areas, a circulating water facility, and a flare stack; upon completion, it will produce 650,000 tons per year of polymeric grade ethylene and 122,000 tons per year of polymeric grade propylene, as well as by-products such as hydrogen, methane, mixed C4, pyrolysis gasoline, and fuel oil. The total investment for this project is 3,408.73 million yuan, with a total land area of 27.2 hectares.
