I currently work at a chemical plant, where polyethylene and polypropylene are produced. I am responsible for the maintenance of chemical processing equipment; I’m a frontline employee. I want to apply for an engineer position but am not sure which category to choose. I hope experts can advise me on the best path forward!
Applying to be an engineer? Isn’t an engineer a professional title now? You can apply as long as the duration is sufficient
I want to obtain a certification as a Registered Equipment Engineer or a Registered Chemical Engineer
The registered category is equivalent to an intermediate professional title; you’re referring to the evaluation route, and the technical value associated with it is not as high as that of the registered category, though it’s relatively easier to obtain
