“It seems that the nitrogen foam technique is very effective in addressing sand clogging in oil wells, and I am confident in advancing the use of this technology going forward. ”Recently, at the production site of well WB8-2-1H in the Henan Oilfield, Geng Chao, a technician from the oilfield’s engineering institute, said this after observing the gradual increase in the well’s daily output. Going deep into the field is key to optimizing oil production engineering technologies and ensuring oil and gas production. Since the beginning of this year, the Henan Oilfield has adhered to the principle of focusing on developing the technologies needed at the production sites. By enhancing on-site services, promoting collaborative research, and driving technological upgrades, it has facilitated the efficient use of oil extraction engineering technologies, providing comprehensive and high-quality technical support for oil and gas production and helping to improve the efficiency and quality of operations in the oilfield. To date, Henan Oilfield has carried out 37 innovations in oil production techniques this year, which have been applied in 1,201 well operations; the effectiveness rate of these techniques is 91.8%, resulting in an increase in oil production of 108,600 tons. On-site service to provide one-stop solution to problems. On December 24th, at well D1X-4HF in the Xunyi exploration area of the Henan Oilfield, Zhao Xuechen, a technician from the oilfield’s engineering institute, carefully checked the heating power of the electric heating equipment as well as the temperature of the fluid coming out of the wellhead, in order to monitor the effectiveness of the electric heating test. To address the issue of wax buildup in oil wells, Zhao Xuechen has been working on site for 50 days. “The production site is our frontline for tackling challenges; only by holding the site can we accurately identify the problems. ”He said. To accelerate the transformation of technological achievements, Henan Oilfield has introduced an innovative \"integrated on-site service\" management model, assigning technical personnel to work continuously at the production sites. They provide \"one-stop\" services that cover research and design, on-site implementation, and troubleshooting, thereby improving the efficiency of problem resolution. At the same time, a closed-loop mechanism of “production needs—rapid response—implementation of results” is established to flexibly allocate on-site teams and back-office R&D resources, thereby accelerating the speed of technical responses. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 618 technical personnel have been dispatched to this oil field, providing on-site services for 1,201 wells. By working together, we can effectively promote stable and increased production. In the past, when dealing with challenges such as wells with leaks, the approach was often to address each issue separately, resulting in unsatisfactory overall outcomes. Today, through cross-departmental and interdisciplinary collaboration, we have not only efficiently resolved the problem of leaking wells at the Chunguang Oilfield but also extended the production lifespan of those wells. ”Xing Degang, the head of the Henan Oilfield Engineering Institute, said. To address the critical challenges in production, Henan Oilfield has strengthened collaborative efforts to tackle these issues. At the stage of drilling plan design, technical experts in drilling, completion, workover, and chemistry are brought in early to analyze the requirements of oil production processes, assess potential problems, and develop innovative solutions such as key technologies for wellbore integrity, low-cost hydraulic workover techniques, and precise methods for identifying water cut issues. These advancements provide accurate technical support for oil and gas production. Since the beginning of this year, the oil field has successfully addressed issues with multiple wells that had casing leaks or other faults. The length of casing sections that can be repaired using this technology has exceeded 300 meters. The developed dual-sealing technique capable of withstanding high and low temperatures as well as high pressures allows tools to function stably at temperatures ranging from 60 degrees Celsius to 350 degrees Celsius and under pressures of 20 MPa, thereby contributing significantly to maintaining and increasing production at the Henan Oil Field. Optimization and upgrading to continuously improve process technologies – this technology not only enhances efficiency but also reduces costs; it saves on the construction expenses per well and shortens the project timeline as well. ”Li Jie, the on-site attendant, said. This year, Henan Oilfield applied the optimized delayed tip sliding sleeve technology to the horizontal wells D4X-1HF and D4-1HF in the Xunyi exploration area, successfully addressing the issues of low perforation efficiency and high costs in the initial section. Qiu Yong, the on-site technician, explained: “This technology has been successfully applied in 4 wells so far, and it will be rolled out across the Xunyi exploration area in the next step.” ”How to reduce costs and improve efficiency while solving production challenges? Since the beginning of this year, Henan Oilfield has focused on this goal by assigning oil production engineering and technical personnel to be involved throughout the entire process – from scheme design and on-site implementation to effect monitoring – in order to actively explore avenues for technical optimization and continuously improve the associated processes. At the same time, three types of teams – for innovation, services, and emergency response – were established, led by oilfield experts and heads of various grassroots research institutes. Focusing on the needs of oil extraction processes, these teams work to continuously optimize and upgrade existing technologies. Since the beginning of this year, the oil field has optimized the use of 37 technologies such as oil-bearing sludge profile control agents and mechanical positioning, achieving significant benefits.
