On September 29, the thermal power supporting project for Anqing Petrochemical’s refinery restructuring initiative commenced construction. Wang Yi, the company’s general manager and deputy party secretary, Song Xianghua, the company’s vice general manager, Liu Xiaohua, the representative of Anqing Petrochemical Branch and its party secretary, Zhang Yejin, the vice general manager, Wang Xiaohong, general manager of Anhui Wanwei Engineering Management Co., Ltd., Tian Jiaping, vice general manager of China Energy Construction Group Anhui Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., as well as Wang Yinfeng, general manager of the First Installation Branch, and Wang Kun, its vice general manager, attended the commencement ceremony. It is understood that the Anqing Petrochemical refinery restructuring project is a key construction project of the group company, with the heat and power supporting facilities being an important part of it. The thermoelectric supporting project includes construction tasks such as adding 1 high-temperature and high-pressure coal-fired boiler with a capacity of 410 tons per hour, 2 backpressure units with a capacity of 35 megawatts, a central control room, and the renovation and expansion of other electrical facilities. Once completed and put into operation, this project will further enhance the overall heating capacity of Anqing Petrochemical, ensuring the smooth implementation of the transformation of its refining and conversion industries. At the commencement ceremony, Hou Xianggang, manager of the company’s Anqing Petrochemical Project Department, said in his speech that it is necessary to focus on key aspects and ensure progress along the main priorities. By concentrating on critical milestones, the goal of completing the project can be achieved. The project department will carry out its work around key elements such as the boiler structure, large-scale generator sets, coal grinding units, and the installation of process pipelines. A leadership team will be responsible for overseeing the project, with dedicated personnel working meticulously to advance each construction phase steadily. Second, it is necessary to raise the political awareness and strengthen organizational support; management personnel should have a sense of the bigger picture, remain on site at all times, and provide support to the front lines of construction work. Third, strengthen project management to ensure that construction safety, quality, and schedule are under control. The project team will make every effort to implement safety measures to guarantee the intrinsic safety of the construction process ; Continuously strengthen control during the construction process to achieve 100% coverage in quality management, ensuring that the construction quality of all specialties meets standards from the first attempt ; Strengthen overall project management and control, keep abreast of the on-site situation at all times, fully mobilize internal and external resources, and concentrate superior forces to secure a successful outcome for the thermal power supporting project.
