American Elastomer Company to Add Nitrile Rubber Production 2026-03-23 16:24:23 Recently, American Lion Elastomer Company announced its plan to expand its manufacturing facility in Port Neches by adding new production units for nitrile rubber. The new project will build on the company’s large-scale integrated emulsion rubber production facility in Port Neches, Texas, to help meet the domestic demand for nitrile rubber in the United States and expand into export markets. The main application areas for nitrile rubber include floors/cushions, custom compounded rubber, automotive and industrial hoses, gaskets and seals, as well as PVC modification. The new production capacity is scheduled to go into commercial operation in September 2026, with further capacity expansion and an increase in product variety to follow.
