On March 28, the Guangdong Petrochemical Marine Fuel Oil Project, located in the Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Zone in Huilei County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, officially commenced construction. Once the project is put into operation, it will increase China National Petroleum Corporation’s annual production of low-sulfur marine fuel oil by 200%, thereby helping to alleviate the shortage of domestically produced green marine fuel oil. The Guangdong Petrochemical Integration Project is located in a favorable position along the southern coast, and it is a project included in the strategic layout of the energy plan for the 13th Five-Year Plan period. The newly planned 2.6 million tons per year low-sulfur marine fuel project will have a production volume equivalent to 34% of the total amount of duty-free low-sulfur marine fuel produced by domestic refineries in 2020. The project will further optimize and improve the product structure of Guangdong Petrochemical’s integrated refining and chemical production facility, contributing to China’s carbon reduction strategy. Guangdong Petrochemical will expand the project by constructing 4 storage tanks with a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters each. The detailed design and the review of 60% of the models have been completed, all 34 purchase orders have been issued, and the procurement process for all necessary materials has begun.
All 34 purchase requests have been completed, and all materials have entered the procurement process.
Is it that clear? Is it the owner, or the general contractor?
