It is reported that the project is scheduled to be basically completed by the end of 2025, with an intermediate handover taking place in March 2026, and full operation to commence in June 2026. The construction of the Tarim Phase II ethylene project is a concrete manifestation of China National Petroleum Corporation’s implementation of the spirit of the important speeches and the Party’s strategy for governing Xinjiang in the new era. It is a significant measure to implement the Autonomous Region Party Committee’s plan to develop “eight major industrial clusters” and contribute to the construction of a better Xinjiang. It is a key project for Dushanzi Petrochemical Company to implement the requirements set by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council regarding \"world-class leading demonstration enterprises in specific industries.\" Achieving high-level development is of great significance for ensuring **energy and resource security, driving economic and social development in the Xinjiang region, and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of China’s petroleum refining industry.
