Reciprocating compressor inlet buffer tank

What could be the reason for the continuous abnormal noise coming from the inlet buffer tank of the two-stage horizontal reciprocating compressor? There are four such compressors in total, and the other three do not make any noise; it started making noise suddenly, and the pressure, flow rate, and temperature are all normal. Who knows what the reason is and how to fix it? Thanks
It’s too general; it’s impossible to tell. What kind of unusual noise is it? Is it a regular intermittent noise or an irregular noise? Is it possible to roughly determine whether it’s the sound of metal hitting or the sound of gas? Can it be determined whether it originates from the inlet buffer tank itself or is caused by a expansion of the tank?
Open it and take a look; there’s a high possibility of foreign objects being inside
The thermometer on the buffer tank must be loose. Check it.
Are there any other sounds coming from the buffer tank?
