Could everyone please explain what the principle of measuring the turbine speed is?
The measurement probe detects the protruding parts of the turbine gears; each time the probe comes close to a protruding part, a pulse signal is generated, and it is in this way that the measurement is carried out.
This speed dial also serves as an axis displacement dial.

The common types of speed sensors are as follows: 1. Passive Magnetic Sensors 2. Hall Effect Sensors. Looking at the sensor in the picture, based on my experience it should be a Passive Magnetic Sensor; a detailed explanation of its working principle can be found on page 4 of the attachment.
