How can this be called milky white? These are the bubbles in the oil when it is in operation; once the machine stops, these air bubbles disappear and the oil returns to its normal color. Is the oil under the oil sight glass clearly unchanged, showing its natural color? Milky white – milk is milky white in color; this color is quite different from milky white. We had the same issue with a twin-screw pump before; the operator said that after it started running, the oil appeared similar to yours. It’s likely because the oil sight glass was positioned too high, preventing visibility of the lubricant at the bottom, which led the operator to mistakenly think that the oil had emulsified. However, when the pump was stopped and the oil was drained, it was normal with no signs of emulsification at all.
