One of the turbines in our plant has problems with incorrect throttle control and excessive vibration in the secondary oil pipelines. During valve-opening tests, no vibration occurs when the valve is opened slightly, but significant vibration appears when it is opened more fully. Adjusting the oil volume and oil pressure does not help resolve this issue. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Please share some suggestions on how to diagnose it.
Adjust the misfuel valve flutter and spool speed
For issues related to incorrect throttle setting in the turbine and vibration in the secondary oil pipeline, you can start by checking and resolving the problem from two aspects: first, adjust the one-way throttle valve; note that this valve has scale markings, and it is only when it is set to the appropriate position that pressure fluctuations in the secondary oil circuit can be effectively controlled and reduced, thereby eliminating the vibration; Second, adjust the verticality of the control valve bracket; if this verticality is poor, external forces and torques that hinder normal operation will be applied to the hydraulic actuator, resulting in vibration. The railing has been adjusted. Our machine was manufactured in 2006, so it doesn’t have this one-way throttle valve; we’ll give it another try this afternoon.
The problem has been resolved. The knob for adjusting vibration is located on the side; we hadn’t found the right position for it. We also rewired the connections related to the quick-shut off component, and now the issue is fixed.
