Today, while reviewing the installation instructions for the John Crane 57B/58B mechanical seal, I found several parameters specified: the roughness of the shaft/shaft sleeve is +0.3–0.6 μm Ra (after polishing), and the ellipticity of the shaft/shaft sleeve+
Do you know what the 0.003'' at the end means?
That’s a British unit of measurement. Chinese people can just look at the front part
