We have a large-scale equipment where the motor was running many times during the test run, and the current increased. After six or seven seconds, without any other alarm, the motor stopped directly and the current became 0. Has anyone encountered this situation? I don’t know what kind of equipment this motor is equipped with. I suggest you check the process of the driven equipment to see if it meets the starting conditions. For example, the inlet opening of centrifugal compressors, water pumps and other equipment is too large and similar problems.
The phenomenon is that the starting current exceeds the standard. The equipment running current is 40A, which is estimated to be a 30~37KW motor. The control cabinet sets the starting overload current and overload time according to the standard. If the starting process exceeds the standard, it will trip. Check the control cabinet parameter settings, the size of the motor incoming cable, and reduce the starting load!
Looking up from below, the main motor of the third extruder stops directly without any other problems and alarms. The two main motors of the Jack-up will stop after starting. That is normal.
