What precautions should be taken when using a hydrogen compressor to compress nitrogen or air again?

Nitrogen is heavier than hydrogen and is not easy to compress; compressing nitrogen results in significant vibrations. The inlet flow rate of nitrogen should not be set too high, as this can lead to overpressure. Additionally, attention must be paid to the temperature of the machine and the outlet.
The outlet temperature of the nitrogen compressor should not exceed 150 degrees; some standards specify 160 degrees, but the common limit is 150 degrees. When using a nitrogen hydrogen testing machine, it is necessary to ensure that the current drawn by the compressor motor does not exceed its rated value, in other words, the motor should not be operated under overload conditions. As for the pressure in each stage, there are no specific requirements, but I personally believe it should not exceed the design pressure. This can be ensured by using a two-to-one or three-to-one ratio between stages, or by returning fluid from one stage to another; some stages also have vents for this purpose
