Maintenance of emergency shutdown valve for 25MW extraction steam turbine

This post was last edited by Nan Yue Wu Shan on 2017-8-2 at 14:21. After the steam turbine was shut down normally, the emergency shutdown device tripped multiple times during the startup process. After making multiple adjustments to the fly ring spring, there was little difference in the shutdown speed. The front bearing housing was inspected, and after adjusting the gap between the fly ring and the disengagement mechanism, the machine operated normally upon testing.
Has there been any analysis of the multiple operations of the emergency cut-off switch? ~~
After analysis, it has been determined that the disengagement of the circuit breaker and the small contact area between the slide valve result in insufficient clearance, causing a shutdown before the set speed is reached
