This is the plan view of the centrifuge. Which side is the exit? Where is the entrance? Also shouldn't the thrust plate be on the high pressure side? Why is the thrust plate not integral with the main shaft? How is the thrust plate fixed on the shaft?
The left is the inlet and the right is the outlet. The thrust plate does not necessarily have to be installed on the high-pressure side.
The thrust plate is thermally locked with mother-of-pearl.
Look at the impeller to determine the inlet and outlet. The center of the impeller enters and the edge of the impeller exits.
The simplest way to judge a centrifuge is that the inner diameter of the inlet pipe is larger than the inner diameter of the outlet pipe.
