Since it is necessary to observe the conditions inside the equipment, several sets of tempered glass viewing panels have been installed on the wall of the equipment to allow continuous monitoring of what is inside. However, when the equipment is operating normally, materials tend to stick to the surface of these viewing panels, preventing an accurate view of what is inside. The equipment is under a pressure of around 0.1 MPa, with a temperature of 100 degrees; it also contains dust, water vapor, and other substances. I would like to ask everyone how to ensure that the viewfinder glass is not blocked or can be cleaned in a timely manner when the equipment is operating properly, so as to be able to see what’s inside the equipment.
For our standard equipment, we have the manufacturers install backwash nozzles inside the sight glass during manufacturing. Later on, we also tried to add sight glass cleaning scrapers; you might want to look for them online
Similar to the sight glass with a cleaner at the top of the image, by turning the knob on the outside, the sight glass is cleaned.

Have you seen any sight glasses with rotating scrapers?
You can consult the supplier about the sight glasses with scrapers available on the market. Similar to car windshield wipers. When it’s not clear, turn it manually and it will become clear – very practical.
If the equipment requires high sealing standards, a separate sight glass pipeline can be designed for steam flushing. This is what’s done on the fermentation tanks in pharmaceutical factories.
