Selection of kettle stirring shafts

I would like to ask whether everyone uses solid or hollow stirring shafts for kettles; which type is better and less prone to bending?
Of course it’s solid – is that even necessary to ask? Hollow structures have low stiffness and are extremely prone to bending!
For the same cross-sectional area, a hollow structure has higher strength than a solid one.
