Are there any requirements regarding the hardness of the materials used for the rotating and stationary rings in dry gas seals? For example, must the hardness of the material used for the rotating ring be higher than that of the stationary ring, or something like that? Also, are spiral-grooved sealing blocks generally preferred? Can spiral grooves only be made on the moving ring? Please, experts, give me an explanation! ! ! ! !
