One of our company’s R22 refrigeration industrial screw chillers uses a 50% concentration ethylene glycol water solution as the refrigerant. During operation, we have observed frequent fluctuations in the suction pressure (ranging from 90 to 35 kPa, with these fluctuations occurring once per hour), and the load also fluctuates accordingly (between 20% and 45%). We would like to know the reasons for these frequent fluctuations in suction pressure ?
What will the load be like in the future, and are there any fluctuations? Additionally, it is recommended to check the expansion valve to see if a malfunction on its part is causing the issue~~
As long as it does not affect the cooling performance, it should be the automatic adjustment made by the chiller to control the suction temperature.
It’s necessary to go and take a look in person; otherwise, it’s hard to say. :)
