I’m seeking help from experts: the hex socket head bolts in the steam chamber of the turbine cannot be removed. What should I do? It’s an M10 hex bolt, with spot welding used to prevent it from loosening. When a hex key is used to turn the bolt, its corners get damaged; as a result, it’s no longer possible to remove either the bolt or the nut. Has anyone suggested using oxygen and acetylene to blow the bolt off?
It can be drilled out using a magnetic drill; there is a place in Tianjin that can repair it
