This must be done in accordance with the requirements outlined in the device’s instruction manual. If possible, it’s best to turn the shaft. By turning the shaft, oil can be applied to the lubrication points in various areas, thereby creating an oil film for lubrication. Turning the shaft also allows one to determine whether the rotation is normal. The acceleration during equipment startup exerts the greatest impact force on the equipment, so it is still necessary to turn the shaft manually. However, for some equipment that does not have a turning gear installed, it is not necessary to turn it.
