The drilling fluid slurry, namely the slurry that has passed through the vibrating screen, has a solid content of 30%. Now, I want to treat this slurry using a filter press. What type of pump should be used as the feed pump for the filter press to ensure easier operation and maintenance?
Sludge screw pump. Standard equipped with filter presses.
Can it be achieved using a two-stage separator?
There are many options; what is the pressure and flow rate? Piston diaphragm pumps work as well; the key is for you to consider the cost-effectiveness as well as the convenience of operation and maintenance. Our pumps, as feed pumps for filter presses, do not require additional variable frequency control.
A centrifugal pump will do; all the filter presses in our factory use centrifugal pumps
