I encountered a fault recently and would like to share it.: There is no pressure at the outlet of the Ailipu hydraulic diaphragm pump (J series), the medium-body transformer oil is turbid, the oil output of the bleed safety valve is too large (the pump requirement is 2.2 cubic meters/h), the outlet pressure is 28MPA, the diaphragm is suspected to be damaged (there are still some doubts about the new pump), the inlet and outlet valves are intact, and the oil supply valve has not been checked. Now we mainly discuss the oil output of the bleed safety valve.

The construction company didn't understand what the problem was and planned to replace it with a new one. The photo is another 7MPA low pressure pump.
I have a question for the original poster. The diaphragm pump here has an oil supply valve and an oil discharge valve. The safety valve should not open if there is no overpressure.
The outlet at the top is for draining oil and gas. Under normal circumstances, a little oil should flow out. The safety valve function you mentioned is the safety valve core port at the bottom. It will only open to reduce the pressure when the pressure exceeds the set value.

Why do I feel that the valve spring is above the valve ball? Only this structure can achieve the purpose of the safety valve taking off. The current markings indicate that the spring is at the bottom and the valve ball is at the top. Even if it is overpressured, it cannot be opened.
There are two sets of springs, the larger one on top is used for the safety valve, and the smaller one on the bottom is used for deflation.
The mixture of ethylene glycol and hydraulic oil may appear white and opaque. The pump head has not been removed yet, so it is initially suspected that the film is perforated.
By the way, I have a question. When everything is normal, if the hydraulic diaphragm metering pump has an outlet pressure of 28MPA, can the pump flow rate reach 2.2 cubic meters per hour?
