Is this vacuum pump a water ring vacuum pump? As for how it works, the pump itself is fine; it’s been running for a long time yet no water has been pumped out. I hope someone experienced can take a look

There’s no point in talking without any pictures. Besides, vacuum pumps are used for sucking in air; I’ve never heard of vacuum pumps being used to pump water. If it’s used for pumping water, then it’s not called a vacuum pump – it’s called a water pump
