The impeller of the circulating water pump (vertical pipeline pump) suffers from severe cavitation. The operator often uses the inlet valve to regulate the flow rate, and it can be seen that the impeller has almost been completely eroded. The traffic definitely won’t increase. The front cover of the impeller has been penetrated; the blades have also been damaged. Another blade, as well as the back cover of the impeller, have been penetrated – chemical equipment and machinery involved

A centrifugal pump cannot have its flow rate adjusted using an inlet valve – how can one not know such a basic fact?
