The Hangzhou steam turbine shut down during operation, with the trip signal indicated to originate from 505. After various analyses were conducted to determine the cause, no clear conclusion was reached. Below is a screenshot of the speed readings at the time of the shutdown; we kindly request guidance and analysis from experienced experts
You need to generate a chain diagram first in order to determine whether lubrication, temperature, and pressure could all be part of such a chain reaction.
You should check the turbine’s SIS system; it contains the alarm history
Look at Figure 1: did the speed drop and then rise again? ?
What chain reaction was triggered by 505 in ITCC? Vibration? Temperature? Or shaft displacement?
Are there any electrical interlocks?
