The magnetic flap level gauge, also known as a magnetic level indicator, magnetic rod level gauge, or magnetic float level gauge, operates on the principle of magnetic coupling. It overcomes the various drawbacks of glass tube level gauges, such as their inability to function under high temperatures and pressures as well as their fragility. Structure of the magnetic flap level gauge: Simply put, the structure of a magnetic flap level gauge consists of a flap indicator, a scale, the main pipeline, a magnetic float, connection flanges, and a drain valve; these are the components of a basic magnetic flap level gauge. If it is a remote-operated magnetic flap level gauge, it also includes a remote transmitter; if there are special requirements, an exhaust valve is also provided. If it is a level gauge with an alarm magnetic flap, then it also includes: an alarm switch. If it is of the structure of a steam-jacketed magnetic flap level gauge, then it also includes: a steam jacket tube and a small connecting air pipe. Principle of the Chengfeng magnetic flap level gauge: It is developed based on the principle of buoyancy, magnetic coupling, and the principle of a communicating vessel. As the liquid level in the container under measurement rises or falls, due to the principle of communication, the liquid level in the main tube of the level gauge rises as well; the magnetic float inside the main tube moves up and down accordingly. The permanent magnet inside the float transmits a magnetic force to the magnetic flip indicator, causing the red and white flip bars within that indicator to rotate 180°. When the liquid level rises, the flip bars change from white to red; when the liquid level drops, they change from red to white. The boundary between red and white on the indicator represents the actual height of the liquid level inside the container, thereby providing a clear indication of the liquid level.
