Dear experts, I would like to ask what are the methods for online descaling of industrial steam turbines? If anyone has specific implementation plans, please share them so that I can learn from them
Our company has intelligent online cleaning for condensers, but not for turbines yet :P
Centrifugal air compressors can be cleaned online: a descaling agent is sprayed onto the impeller through nozzles, and then the liquid is sent to the cooler by the centrifugal force generated by the impeller. The gas passes through the cooler and goes on to the dryer, while the liquid remains inside the cooler chamber and is discharged from the equipment through a drain outlet.
Online cleaning of condensers should be a well-established technique by now; could you let us know which method you use? It mainly involves online descaling of turbines, and there are many examples of this in the industry. However, there are indeed certain risks associated with its implementation, so I’d like to discuss this with all of you experts
Online cleaning of centrifugal air compressors is already a well-established process; there is no difficulty involved in it. The main challenge lies in the fact that online descaling of industrial steam turbines has not been done yet, so I would like to discuss this topic and learn from all of you experts
The YTD Intelligent Gel Ball Online Cleaning System, while fully respecting the existing process requirements, involves extensive research, analysis, and experimentation on traditional gel ball cleaning devices as well as the cold-end systems of industrial units. It identifies the key factors responsible for low gel ball recovery rates and inadequate cleaning effectiveness, and addresses these issues effectively. As a result, the key indicator used to measure the performance of gel ball cleaning – the recovery rate – is maintained at over 95% on a long-term basis. Thanks to its intelligent design, this system truly achieves the ideal outcomes expected from online cleaning: no need for any offline cleaning processes, no manual intervention throughout the cleaning process, and sustained cleanliness of the condenser. Mainly, the handball rate can be kept very high
