The reciprocating compressor 2D20-30/3.5-12.5 has two stages of compression; abnormal noises are occurring in one of the cylinders

After operating for about 20 days following the maintenance, abnormal noises were heard from one of the cylinders. The operation was normal at 50% load, but noises appeared at 100% load. The following items were checked to identify the cause of the noises: 1. The piston top dead center was checked and found to be fine； 2. The piston rod compression element is not loose ； 3. The piston back cap is not loose ； 4. The set screws of the intake and exhaust valves are not loose: Please advise on any other areas where noise might occur. . . . .

I encountered this problem once as well; later on, there was a malfunction in the hydraulic compression device between the crosshead and the piston rod
50% of the time it works normally; at this time, the intake valve on the side where the cover is lifted should be open. 100% have abnormal noises; loading is applied from the side of the cover at this time. By elimination, it can be determined that the problem lies somewhere on the cover side. Check the end-stop clearance on the side of the lower cover; it is recommended to increase it slightly.
Based on the sound, it could be coming from that area; there’s a 50-100% chance that’s the source. I haven’t heard the sound myself, but I tend to think there’s a problem with the valve. It’s recommended to check the valve
Have the big end and small end bearings of the connecting rod been checked?
