By placing a rising-film and falling-film evaporator within a single housing, a rising-falling-film evaporator is created. After being preheated, the feed liquid rises first through the rising-film heating chamber, then descends through the falling-film heater; thereafter, it is separated from the secondary steam in the separation chamber to yield the finished product. Such evaporators are commonly used in situations where the viscosity of the solution changes significantly during evaporation, the amount of water that can be evaporated is limited, and there are certain constraints on the height of the facility
The idea is good, but the direction of the secondary steam is conflicting; in my opinion, the design is unreasonable, and it’s not as effective as a single lift and single drop system
